Required Elements we need from you:

Ok, let's get down to business! For this project, these are the types of elements we need from you. If you need more help/ideas/inspiration with this, click here! Please note that for this type of project, the only required elements below are #1 and #2. You may also send a message(s) at the beginning and/or end of the song, either as written message(s), audio message(s), OR video message(s).Tip: You may consider NOT sending a message at the beginning of the song so that the giftee is even more surprised when they realize the song is specifically written for them!

1. Required: Info needed to write the lyrics: Please include a few paragraphs or a bullet-point list of things you'd like included in the song. Please be mindful of the length of the song you've purchased in accordance with the amount of lyrics info you send. For each minute of the song, we recommend sending over two to three short paragraphs or 8 to 10 bullet points of info. Feel free to highlight or *asterisk info that should absolutely be included in the song (top priority), as we likely won't be able to include all the info in the lyrics!

2. Required: Images: Images are a great way to reach back into the memory bank and bring up some great times. Bonus points for high-quality images.
⚠️ Suggested quantity of photos for a 1:30-minute song: 8-10. (add about three photos per additional 30 seconds of music)

3. Optional: Written message(s): A short written message can be displayed before and/or after the sung lyrics of the song begin/end.
⚠️ Suggested maximum length: up to about 35 words (intro and/or outro)

4. Optional: Audio message(s): A short audio message can be placed before and/or after the sung lyrics of the song begin/end. Please do your best to record audio messages in a quiet, non-echoey setting. Bonus points for messages recorded on a proper microphone.
⚠️ Suggested maximum length: up to around 8 seconds (intro and/or outro)

5. Optional: Video message(s) and mute videos: A short video message can be placed before and/or after the sung lyrics of the song begin/end. It's important to note that videos that display while the lyrics of the song are being sung will be muted. Please do your best to record video messages in a quiet, non-echoey setting. Bonus points for messages recorded on a nice camera in a lovely, quiet, and non-echoey setting. Muted videos could be fun, artistic, heartfelt videos that work well without the accompanying audio.
⚠️ Suggested maximum length for intro and/or outro messages: up to around 8 seconds(intro and/or outro)
⚠️ Suggested quantity/length of mute videos for a 1:30-minute song: 4-5 videos, around 10 seconds each. (add about 1-2 videos per additional 30 seconds of music) Note: you don't need to mute the videos before sending them to us. We can take care of that.
